Anonymous asked: Ceej do you apply to zines? If not if invited, would you? Are you in the chat noir zine?

The only zine I applied to is the first ladybug zine, the rest were invites. I’ll be in the Siblings Zine 2 and a couple of Kittlekrattle’s zines >w < I’ll try applying for several zines this year I hope

crypticarus-on-main asked: (1/2) hi! i saw the ask about that person struggling with anatomy and i have advice! raxis is obv 1# advoce, but it hels when you measure the body parts with the head. Distance between shoulders and crotch is two heads, shoulders to fingertips is two heads, crotch to bottom of feet is three heads, shoulder to shoulder aka the width of the torso is one head. I'd suggest drawing the sketch end THEN measure out your body parts. Eventually you wont have to correct the length of the body parts that

(2/2) much anymore. I used to make REALLY long legs and never notice until someone pointed that out. Now I mostly don’t need to correct the length of the body parts much or at all and I’m a lot more confident in it. Eventually you can also play around with the measurements and develop your own deawing style. You gotta understand the rules before breaking them! I wish yiu success in yiur practuce and skills, anon! >wob

Thank you you sweet human bean!! > w <

ANON HELLO OVER HERE!!!!

Anonymous asked: Hi! I have a question. So I've been trying to learn how to draw recently, and I'm having trouble with body proportions ;-; do you by any chance have any tips on how to get proportions right? Thank you in advance! I really love your art by the way! Your art style is one of the best!

This is the part when we practice. At first, I was also in the same plate bc anatomy is hard. I tried to look at lotsa reference and tutorials but when it came to making my own poses, it turns really hard. It took me loadsa practice and observing to get the hang of it, even now, sketching poses consumes my time. I gathered it’s sorta like, basic shapes and perceiving 3d into 2d. So it’s entirely practice!
