I don’t know if I will help but let me share to you the thing that pops into my head when I think about suicide.
I want you to think about the positive things. Like what makes you happy? What are you’re dreams and goals, even the silly dreams? What are those things that you did that it made you so proud you want to scream to the world? Your friends, your loving family, things that make you chuckle or laugh like a madman, maybe even God who’s saying “YOU CAN DO IT!” at this very moment, your fandoms, you otps, food, baby animals, the small achievements you did today that made people happy, and the big ones that made you feel so important, and stuff you wanna do later. EVERYTHING. I want you to gather every positive thing you can think of, even the smallest ones, and pretend it morphed into a little person and he’s hugging you right now. I bet this little guy is the only thing you wanna spend your time with for the rest of your life cuz he’s all you need. Then here comes a bigger man staring right at you. Fill that man with all the negative things (life problems, people who don’t appreciate you, things you hate, etc) and your suicidal thoughts. This guy wants to be friends with you and starts luring you but this little guy went to front and protects you with all his little strength. The bigger man laughs at it and wants to eat it. Would you also protect the little guy? The one you only have just to be friends with that big guy?
I know I don’t make sense but this one has helped me through a lot. Life is so tough, I can’t stress that anymore. And yes, it’s normal to hear “giving up won’t help at all” whenever asking for advice about suicide but that phrase or the similar phrases will save you tons of times. So please have faith in yourself because I have faith in you. I know you can pass through all the bad things (no matter what those are) and you can do whatever you want in your power to be happy.
I’ll be cheering up on you even until you get this through, I promise \(O A O /)
