I apologize for the angry replies. I’m tired, sleepy, I have so much work due, and I come here for a break and yoooo, and I can’t really tell if the tone of the messages are sarcasm, or demanding, or honest anymore. There’s not much space for bs so
Anonymous asked: Ronin looks like a sulky bastard and I love him
Ronin is the bastard I’d stick with everyday at school U 3 U
Anonymous asked: Hey Ceej! Sooo one of the things i admire the most about your art is the liveliness and dynamism. What do you think is the best way to achieve this and avoid drawing just shapes with no soul. Is there a technique or something or is it just observe and practice?
Observing and practice are the basics, for us to understand what we’re drawing first but the dynamism you ask is sort of another level? It’s like.. In cooking, everyone can follow the recipe, but it still tastes different when the one who has more passion made it (it’s easily explained as that, I don’t really know exactly how to clear it) it’s more likely “feeling” and “expressing” for your character, it’s what you feel when you draw an angry expression, you also do the same face as your character. For some reason, when you feel the scene of your drawing, you just manage to make those kinds of poses. I guess it’s that?????
Anonymous asked: Not religion related ( though I've had my fair share of that crap), but I have been taunted for a different reason. I'm underweight. I've always been underweight. People have made a lot of quips at me, like 'I can use you to study skeletal system' or expecting me to take being anorexic (which I'm not) as a compliment. But most people would consider me a whiner because 'thinness has been idealised, so I can't have problems 😑' I mostly ignore people now
That’s good. Just ignore them. Whatever they’re saying is only a way to make themselves feel better with whatever they’re going through but that does not mean what they’re telling you is the truth. Stay strong.
Anonymous asked: To add on to the religion thing, I am always bullied for being Muslim at my school. They call me territorst and Osama bin ladens daughter. And when I tell them to stop they make in fun of my race calling me a 'Somali pirate' and shit. First I was laughing with them cause I thought they were joking but it got to a point where I'm just tired of it. And I can't do anything about cause I'm literally one of the only students of color at this shitty school. I just want to leave tbh
Ok this one is too low. Same with my previous post, do your best to avoid them and this time, tell a teacher or your parents about it so you can switch seats or seek guidance and get help. If they bully you again and tell you for being a cry baby for “telling the teacher”, it’s not weakness, it’s rather acting smart so you can avoid them. And don’t react too much, they’ll get tired of picking on you if they get bored.
Anonymous asked: Alo! I just want to ask a question about religion. At school I get bashed a lot about what I believe in, and it's making me really angry.Certain people won't back off. Like if you were to watch the situation from a far, my hands are constantly twitching. How do I deal with them? Because I'm getting sick of these people, I wish I could slap them in the face.
Sounds like I’m back in high school;; one thing I would do is to try my best and not listen to whatever they’re saying. Just be neutral and don’t react too much. At the same time, just respect their opinions. You have your own and they have theirs. Even if it’s against you. The more you react the more people will fuss about you. But stay true to your beliefs, no one can force you that at all.
Anonymous asked: hey ceej! I wanted to ask about your alma mater just a lil bit if that's ok with you ; u;. Is the trimester a hassle as hecc like does it have speedrun discussions? And is the entrance exam frikking difficult af? ;-;
Not really and no. You’ll probably make it xD
Anonymous asked: Hey ceej! Was wondering whether you get moments or substantial periods of time when you just lose motivation to draw... (ur the absolute coolest btw lyy
You know, just all the time, it’s not very new ‘ v ‘
Anonymous asked: So, if you were to be a certain religion, but you don't believe in all the stories, "rules", and orders to fulfill in being labeled in that religion, does it make you (generally) a deist? A deist is someone who believes in god, but not in a certain religious group. I'm just trying to add on to the convo here.
Not exactly? Though I still believe and follow some of the rules bc I kinda grew up with them, like a natural thing to me but I’m not extreme. I could call myself a regular and chill church goer. But even so, I have my own personal beliefs that I don’t need to share with everyone.
Anonymous asked: Question ...if Catholics don't support the same sex being together then why do you draw it?
Because I’m not religious.
