#1: You should never, never, never in all of your existence,tell a musician that they will not get into college/get a job/win the audition because they are not, and will never be, good enough. 

Our self-esteem is low enough as is, assholes. 

my friend told me this my sophomore year of high school and it fucked me up really bad for like a year and a half i was convinced i couldnt do anything right. if you ever say this to someone you are the biggest piece of shit in existence

It’s hard enough trying to get over yourself for thinking you aren’t good enough so having other people saying it too doesn’t help at all
