Anonymous asked: hey cj!! so, i saw your latest insta art of elsa and wanted to ask what do you teach now? to very young kids? like...how are you doing in the adult/job part of life? tc! :)

Yo!! I teach drawing to grade school kids once a week >w < they only think I only teach drawing but never see me draw an actual character (at least only the first and second graders haha) this is only a part time job but it’s apparently my stress relief. I work daily as a freelance artist.

Anonymous asked: Hey, I have a quick question. Do you listen to music when you draw, and if so, what kind? I've heard that it's best to draw without any background noises/distractions but I feel like if I did that I'd get so bored. What do you normally do?

I only need to focus on drawing faster so distractions are really crucial. Firstly, I have ADHD I get distracted VERY easily. But like you said, it gets boring. If I wanna chill with music, I just listen to the ones I like. It doesn’t matter what genre or type so long as that song gets you into the jammy groove/motivated when working. But music only gets me slower since I get distracted so easily, like only 60-70% fast with working. Watching movies/shows gets me in the groove too, but I prefer the ones without reading any subs ofc. But that gets me 40% fast. So if I want to get faster 100% or even 120%, no music at all. I can only really focus on one thing, but when I rly get focused, I’m focused HARD.

Sometimes I make a game. Where I set a playlist and race with the time of the songs. Same with movies. But that rarely works bc ye, I still get distracted.

I suggest you go for groovy music that you like, just to get you into the excitement? Just lots of positive energy, it gives the motivation and the inspiration to work awesome ‘ v  ‘

sorry I talk too much

Anonymous asked: Hey can I confess something? Ok so I watched all of miraculous ladybug and I've never been so desperate to see a series end because I just want them 2 know what their real identities are it has me frustrated, anyway your art really helps with the frustration ahaha

same same sa em. And Thank you!!!!

Anonymous asked: hey... can I ask you something? (i'm already doing it but okay) what do you do when you can't find any inspiration and think about giving up, finding something else to do?

I go away and cool off. Like do something else. Eventually, you’ll miss drawing. Though, it will probably be like when you finally go back, you’ll lose it again. This is very unprofessional but it’s normal. So try your best to push yourself. Plan what you want to draw. Go see something that’ll make you feel motivated. And try focusing for at least 30 minutes or until you finally get into your work.

Anonymous asked: looking back at the stuff that i drew like a couple of months ago i realize that i've gotten better, which is good, but i also cringe so bad, which is frustrating because i know that some day i'm gonna look back at all the things i'm currently drawing and that i think are pretty, and then i'm gonna be like ew xD i just feel like all my good ideas are gonna go down the tubes, unless i re-draw them in the future... ugh can u relate?

Me everyday xD

So long as you keep doing what you’re doing, then you’ll really do great esp in the future!

Anonymous asked: I was curious... for the Miraculous Ladybug drawings you tend to create a lot of romantic and sweet atmospheres between the paired characters. So, I was wondering where did the inspiration to make such scenes come from? Personal experience, movies, etc.? You seem pretty on point with portraying such situations.

Some of them are from personal experience, some of them are just head canons, most of them are my hurtful wants.
