Anonymous asked: I know I asked this before but honestly i’m desperate, how do you draw folds? I understand pressure points and everything but I still can’t draw them. T^T
ACK! So sorry! Anyway. Tbh it’s a bit hard? But not to the point where you’ll get super frustrated. That’s why I didn’t emphasize this.
Also it’s hard to explain but here are the rules I gathered:
- Remember direction. Observe real clothes and understand the type of objects that will push or pull the cloth.
- practice on random lines/ziggy zags and make them the fabric. After you make random shapes or lines, give them the folds. Limit the folds! Large fabric and small objects, MORE folds. Small fabric and large objects, LESS folds. Equal, only NECESSARY folds.
- The type of the fabric will always also limit your drawing of folds.
- KNOW YOUR OBJECTS. BE PATIENT. Don’t just copy references of folds all the time. Try to understand the objects first that will affect the clothe and make folds. So in any angle you’ll make folds you don’t need to worry. But do lots of observing. There’s so much pictures in Google that’s easier to determine folds. Good luck!
Anonymous asked: Even now as a full-fledged artist do you still get maybe jealous of other artists' styles or gaze in amazement at their works? (you're my role model btw
Honestly, I get amazed than jealous. Before, I do but in a while, all is just a matter of hard work. Everyone gets better by themselves and in their own style. But what I do get jealous of is the artist’s motivation and will to do a lot of work and improve, and their professionalism, all at the same time, which is my current problem. (OH THANKS MY DUDE!)
Anonymous asked: hello! i'm a fellow filipino and i'm super inspired by your art! btw, you're an animator, right? i wonder if your salary is big? i really want to pursue art course (game/graphic design) but i was wondering if it's a great course to earn money? :-( some told me to be speech therapist and work abroad but it just... feels wrong for me. thank you and have a nice day!
I just suggest, for you not to work here xD look for freelance work abroad or apply abroad. Ph doesn’t really appreciate art (unless it’s like media and advertising and business cheese, ones that can get companies money) but I hear graphic designing is great. For animation, story telling, digital art, not much. I’m only doing freelance work right now (from abroad ofc), the pay is great but I have to work consistently, looking for open ones. The advantage that’ll help is your portfolio so just keep making lots of art works and also try to learn all of the digital media so you can be flexible with a lot of stuff. Good luck friend!
Anonymous asked: So i showed my little brother miraculous ladybug and he loves it!! The problem is he watched all the episodes out of order. Still we always watch and sing the theme song. My brother cant wait for season two!
There’s no problem having it watched in random order so don’t worry! xD Can’t wait for second season as well…
Anonymous asked: How did sarada become so popular and why?? I feel like she's more popular than boruto himself! Also I used to watch naruto but I got lost somewhere during shippuden and I haven't gone back so I'm trying to avoid all the new stuff but I think I don't like it. when I first learned about the kids I was like "what? No! I hate this" and I especially got mad at sasusaku being canon even tho I used to ship them. Idk why I feel this now. I think it's because I haven't seen it develop
Hmmm. I pretty much got shocked in the middle too. I was expecting narusaku to be canon even if I ship sasusaku for a long time. It kinda sucks bc season 1 we go so much moments and feels and hopes but they didn’t put much on shippuuden so I lost the shippy drive. But in the end, they just left it on the forehead poke and got together. Which is very much like Sasuke when it comes to his affection and stuff but the creators decided that it’s enough TTw TT it’s only a little thing to ask for moments but eeh this is shounen manga and not romance so they’d expect we’d understand orz so I guess they had to make it up through Sarada? (that’s what I first thought at least) but it became a whole new story…
I think Sarada is more popular bc her character and story, I mean naruto gaiden is quite the feelsy arc;; Sarada is literally half Sasuke and Sakura, the sass and the dorkiness kinda makes herself really interesting and cute. But parents aside, Sarada is the one of the most precious characters I’ve been attached with. Her story, persona, intentions, even her classiness, I wanna be this child. This baby is too too cute and lovable I entirely forgot her parents lmao
Boruto to me is less interesting but also an awesome character. In a distance, I always just see him as Naruto’s son but what’s intriguing is he’ll hate you for saying that xD sometimes, I also see Sasuke from him? His wits and cool demeanor sometimes make me think that he’s sasunaru love baby lol but in the end, he’ll be just as loud and approachable like Naruto. Also for the fact that he wants to be like Sasuke so much is pretty cool considering what we remember about Sasuke.
Compared to Boruto, Sarada is already a good set? She has her character, stories, and goal but Boruto’s concept is a little unclear, I guess. Like what does he want? What are his real powers, smth like those. Kinda like with Sasuke before, yo dude, what’s gonna happen to you are you just on for revenge your whole life? Lotsa guide questions;; we have yet to find out more about Boruto so let’s just wait. But if you ask me who I pick between Naruto and Boruto? It’s Boruto. Dunno, I just do.
Sorry to give you a long response, I understand how frustrated you are lol but I guess that’s why Sarada became more popular than Boruto. Cuz gaiden. And she alone is indeed very precious. Thank you for the ask ><
Anonymous asked: do you like dim sum? if so, what are your favorite dishes?
Shrimp! Shellfish! But I prefer most of them steamed or in a soup, or marinated, and baked. And yes I like dim sum, too! Although I wish I get them a lot ; w ;
