At the end of the episode, Haru and Rin are not competing at the Olympics.
At the Olympics each athlete is wearing their country’s uniform (so, if we ever see Haru and Rin competing at the Olympics, they’d be wearing the same swimsuit and the same cap).
What we see is most probably the World Championship, considering the venue is the Foro Italico in Rome, where the 2009 World Championship in swimming took place.
