I use 300 dpi 2000x2000 PSD canvases but they get super grainy super fast. what do you use to make sure your pics look so good and crystal clear even after Tumblr does its compression?
Oh! I use anything that’s over 1000px only in 72dpi. I think the difference is if you save yours in jpg and png. I mostly save mine in png, resolution’s same as when you drew it but higher memory, which is not really a problem except when you upload/save it takes longer, sometimes not acceptable to be uploaded if it’s too big. Jpg can make your resolution like a downloaded file (grainy as you say) but lower memory. Try checking if it’s the case ‘ . ‘
