Mine’s just a regular PC and an HP laptop ‘ . ‘ my SAI is portable so I can use it everywhere I go. Why won’t you first try it on your Mac if it works? If it doesn’t, I suggest you use Photoshop since it’s a professional software, it’s good with Mac too and you can go advanced. It’s the same as SAI except it’s easier to blend colors in SAI and in Photoshop, you have so much tools. Now, I only use SAI for line art because my Photoshop’s kinda laggy when I lineart and I can’t really tell if the lines are fine when I zoom out (my PC is kinda old too and my laptop’s already broke hahaha) and I color there too cuz I’m pretty lazy to open Photoshop, I’m already in SAI why not color there OTL
Mac user here! Unfortunately SAI doesn’t natively work on Mac - but a great alternative is FireAlpaca, which works on both Windows and Mac. It’s pretty easy to use, and the program notifies you of any updates to the program when you start it up. Good luck!
