Oh honey it’s alright ‘ v ‘ I’m not entirely sure, I never had oily skin but I always use mild soap, like normal baby wash is my skin soap and nothing else, if this helps ; 3 ;

(oily here) I wash my face more frequently in the summer and touch my face as little as possible. try blotting paper (like tissue paper, but wipes away oils) I also take meds for acne (solodyn) from my dermatologist that help cut down the oilyness

Sorry to interrupt but I have natural oily skin as well and I use blotches that you can get at beauty supply store. Also use face washes that are meant for oily skin.
