TWO. EPIC. NIGHTS.
OLDCODEX simply brought down the house last week during their performances at Zepp Fukuoka. It was my first time seeing them live and I’ve found a new band to stalk lol.
Both lives were action packed, but I feel that Saturday’s live was way better because the live house was sold out. The fans gave out so much energy; it was immense!! At one point, Ta_2 mentioned that they were so many girls in the audience that he felt like he was in paradise x3
B’z was playing next door at the dome on Saturday and Yorke recalled hearing them play during their practice session as he was painting sometime earlier that day. He was just simply amazed *that* band was just nearby.
Kick Out
During this song, on both nights, they search the crowd for someone to sing the chorus after the intermission part. The chorus is all in English by the way.
During Friday’s live, Yorke pulled out a guy who seemed to have a mental (and physical) disability. The guy was rocking out hard and the crowd was loving it! He couldn’t sing the chorus well, but the fans cheered him on. After that was done, Ta_2 and Yorke individually game the guy a huge hug.
After the end of the concert, said guy was given a wrist strap by Yorke; LUCKY GUY!
During Saturday’s live, both Yorke and Ta_2 pulled out two girls. One of the girls definitely out-shined the other. She got us pumping our fists in the air and she just had so much energy. The other girl was a bit more subdued, but they both did an awesome job at singing the chorus. Both girls received hugs from the guys… jealous!!
I WANT TO SEE OCD AGAIN!!!!! And I will, this August in Hiroshima! xD
