Well maybe because during season 1 Rin wasn’t angry as fuck but rather depressed as fuck and he barely smiled at all.
it’s almost like something tragic happened to him
it’s almost like he spent the last four years thinking he was a failure and would never reach his dream–that it was only a dream, and a ridiculous one at that
it’s almost like he reacted in an extremely human manner to something we’ve all had to deal with in some manner and so we hate on him because it’s easier than hating on ourselves.
