We had one that used to come around our backyard and hang out. We started leaving food for it.
One day it’d snowed early in the season, and we hadn’t put anything out.
Next thing we know there’s a noise, and a fox face, smushed against the kitchen window, just looking at us expectantly and smushedly (of course we brought something out!)
