terror-in-tokyo-ghoul asked: First off your one of my favorite blogs ever and I hope with time and practice I can draw nearly as good as you(>人<;) also any tips on drawing or shading? I'm bad at shading, shadows, and stuff like creases in clothes advice?

THANK YOUU DEAR!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU!!

Shading? Let’s see,

image

When your shape has corners like a cube, you don’t have much probs. You’ll eventually know where your light will pass through then place your shades where you think it’s darker. On round ones, you’ll also have to draw them like roundly(?) However, you’ll have to place small lighting on the opposite side of the shape so it doesn’t look flat.

It basically applies to everything so

There are so much curves and corners there, just make sure you know where your light passes through. If your objects are closer, it’s less shading and the other way around. Try to observe your surroundings. EVERYTHING depends on shapes and light Uw U

Haunting Landscape Photography Inspired by the Brothers Grimm Fairytales by Kilian Schönberger

German photographer Kilian Schönberger is deeply inspired by the exquisite and gruesome Brothers Grimm’s fairytales. Stunning and haunting, the images are brooding, atmospheric, which instantly transport you to a fantasy world, where the woods seem spookier, darker and far more enchanting than on Earth. Although Schönberger is colorblind, he understands that the composition and geometry of an image convey its mood and beauty.
