-get bad grades in school
-get straight-A’s
-are full of random factoids and esoteric trivia but are failing their classes because they never do the homework
-aren’t “twice exceptional”
-need to have things explained to them multiple times in order for them to finally comprehend
-aren’t hyperactive and don’t fit the stereotype
-are hyperactive and can’t sit still
-have trouble reading
-have trouble socializing
-have depression and/or anxiety as a result of struggling in school
-aren’t diagnosed and are written off as “lazy”, “stupid”, or “unmotivated” by teachers and parents
-are self-diagnosed
-were diagnosed late
-can’t stop jiggling their legs
