Anonymous asked: I stumbled onto your blog and I really liked it! The thing is I keep seeing your fanart (which is amazing by the way) for an anime (?) I have no idea about. I want know the name of it if that's not too much to ask. The fanart I'm referring to are the ones tagged 'LadyBug Fandom'. I'm sorry if the name actually really obvious but I don't notice it. Thanks!!

OOH THANK YOU!!! That’s not an anime tho >w < it’s Miraculous Ladybug haha

Anonymous asked: quick question; how exactly are you paying for art school? i want to go, but the prices always seem crazy high?? and good scholarships seem pretty scarce?? tia.

Parents ;;;w;;;; and also depends on the school you want to enter. The thing about my course is that it’s in trimester, so ye, mine’s really expensive TTw TT and about scholarships, I never actually tried to take one, I don’t think I can handle it haha

Also yes, one thing you always hear around that most (but not all) art schools are expensive. And you’re also gonna need to watch out for buying your materials and computers, that’s the evil plus.

Anonymous asked: Ceej, really need your opinion! As a person who graduated from art school, did you see the benefits of the school or were the things you learnt things that could be self-taught? I really want to study art but keep reading its a waste of time. Thanks in advance!

Depends on your field. Mine is animation, just because I draw it doesn’t mean that I already have all the knowledge of animation right? In fine arts, you don’t just paint or sculpt, you’ll be able to discover a lot of things you won’t really get through research. Same as multimedia and journalism. Actually it’s the same with other fields TTw TT like you studied engineering, in the end you’re more successful as an artist. If you believe it’s only self-taught then there’s nothing wrong with that as well. It’s just that there are things you’ll learn in school that you can’t get through research. If your path’s going for art then it’s necessary. If it’s for a hobby, then you don’t need pay schooling.

You’ll always hear opinions about art being a waste of time everywhere, it’s not very new. For mine, I studied animation, I’m working as an animator. But personally, art school isn’t a waste of time. I love to draw so I entered art school and I didn’t waste any of my time.

So long as you choose art, or any other field you love and wanna get into, going to the school is never a waste of anything ‘ v  ‘
