Things You Should Never Do to a Musician

#1: You should never, never, never in all of your existence, tell a musician that they will not get into college/get a job/win the audition because they are not, and will never be, good enough.

Our self-esteem is low enough as is, assholes.

my friend told me this my sophomore year of high school and it fucked me up really bad for like a year and a half i was convinced i couldnt do anything right. if you ever say this to someone you are the biggest piece of shit in existence

It’s hard enough trying to get over yourself for thinking you aren’t good enough so having other people saying it too doesn’t help at all

So true. We think this enough on our own.

Moana

There have been quite a few sketches making their rounds on the internet regarding Walt Disney Animation’s newest feature film Moana. I have done my research and have to say that this is probably going to be the closest to what we are going to be seeing on the big screen. This is a sketch from Nicola Sammarco. Nicola is a character designer/2d animator for Walt Disney Italy. He recently caught a glimpse of Moana on a trip to the animation studio in California as someone had placed her as their background. This is not that image but instead is a rendition through Mr. Sammarco’s eyes. I have to say this is an amazing glimpse into what promises to be another phenomenal Disney film.
